Been spending the last few days playing through an rpg
called Lost Odyssey. So far, it's a very enjoyable experience
and because I haven't had as much exposure to jrpgs as other
gamers I'm enjoying the story and characters more.
My props go out to feelPlus and Mistwalker along with
Nobuo Uematsu for putting together a pretty good game. I also
really enjoy the dreams that Kaim has throughout the game.
They give you insight to his personality that isn't as noticeable
during the game. I think that the use of prose gives the player
the chance to picture the scenes are playing out inside of their
head and requires them to use their imagination.
Nice touch.
On another note, I've also been spending time reading a number
of moderately interesting manga as of late. This has caused me to
look back on how my tastes have changed over the years. It seems that nowadays I cannot bring myself to read shoujo manga. I guess that it just doesn't interest me anymore. I'm worried about that because it shows that I've begun to dismiss things such as getting in touch with my emotions and thinking about other's feelings before I say something. Reading about that in manga used to interest me, but now I have no patience for it.
I plan on resolving this but so far it's a slow process. I'm going to have to take small steps at first, but I have a good feeling that everything will work out.
That's all for now,
Later.
Dex, who is currently trying to find another good and decently sized manga to sink his teeth into...
